Sight Alignment-Sight Picture

These videos show very useful drills with the SIRT where the red laser is offset at a 6:00 position (below the green) and the red laser and the trainer can see if the red laser is hitting a discrete reference dot below the target.

Breathing

We have to breath.  The effect of breathing on pistolcraft is dependent on the situation, but breathing issues creep up where shooters hold their breath, don't appreciate the disterbance of sight picture for precision shots and don't utilize breathing to stay relaxed and give the eyes oxygen.

Trigger Control!!!

A big one.  These videos really show where the SIRT shines.  We have worked with 1000s of shooters at trainings, trade shows, demos, matches…. the number one issue shooters have is trigger control.  The good news is it can be fixed.  We just need some feedback and have to be self critical.  We always pull the trigger when we shoot, no getting around that.  So lets develop the best trigger mechanics we can to make those trigger pull repetitions count!

Follow Through-Recovery

After the shot breaks we have to have follow through and get the pistol back on target. This is in part recoil management which you have to train live fire. Rcovery
